Re: Time Dependent Improvement in Survival for Women w/ Multiple Her2+ Brain Metastas
This post got bumped up due to spam, but I am amazed that science is progressing beyond Herceptin, Chemotherapy and Tykerb as treatments for brain mets. With TDM1, Pertuzamab, Intrathecal Herceptin, and others in the pipeline I hope that we can look back in another 2 1/2 years and see survival times measured in years and decades, instead of days.
Still back then Herceptin, Tykerb and Chemo improved survival from 148 days to 540 days.
I am grateful for the women who are participating in the trials so we can have access to more treatment choices.
