Finger twitching constantly...

So we all know that back (spinal) problems manifest themselves in other areas of the body...
Would a spinal met cause a constant twitching of the fingers ?
My left index finger has been twitching for several weeks ... it moves so much -at times it looks like a wagging puppy dog tail.
I have no pains, its not my surgery side, been off herceptin since June '06. Not other meds.

I hate to be alarmist, but I worry about "out of the ordinary" stuff.

Hi Maria,

I am responding to your post so as to bring it back up for others to see. I wish I could tell you why your finger is twitching but I don't have a clue. I guess as the saying goes.......if you develop a symptom and it doesn't go away in 2 or 3 weeks you should go and get it checked.

Sending love and a hug to you,

Mary Jo

I agree with Mary Jo; and if your doctor doesn't know, ask for a referral to a neruologist. Sometimes we get health conditions that aren't related to cancer, although that's always our first thought. But get it checked out.
