I was just interested Tom - I have also been fighting bc since Jan/1996 but started my Herceptin in 1999 when my first recurrence detected I was Her2 positive. On it 4 years now. Has your wife had any recurrences since she started the Herceptin? Hopefully not. Does she take it weekly?

Pray everything going well for her and so good to see men posting on this site. Care givers need a 'BIG" pat on the back for everything they have to go through also. This is not just a 'victims' disease. Everyone is affected.

Take care -

She has - met to brain and pituitary gland Dx'd 10/03. Had WBR (12/03)and Gamma Knife (1/04). If you are the type who wants to know (and chance false positives), I would suggest a brain MRI or PET scan. Good luck and stay healthy.

Tom,
I am not sure how technical I can be. But I bet that someone on this board can at least keep us from going down a thorny path.
Just jump in and let's see where we go?
