It is hard to believe something that we take so much for granted food could be so influential.

There is a vast amount out there when you begin to search for it.

Once you start reading in depth it is almost unavoidable that diet is a way of reducing a BC risk profile.

Moreover, exogenous supplementation with DHA significantly decreased the expression of Her-2/neu-codified p185(Her-2/neu) oncoprotein (up to 78% reduction in BT-474 cells). Our results provide experimental support to the hypothesis that omega-3 PUFAs can be used as modulators of tumor cell chemosensitivity and provide the rationale for in vivo preclinical investigation. In addition, this is the first study demonstrating that omega-3 PUFA DHA downregulates Her-2/neu oncogene expression in human breast cancer cells.

Great info. Just be aware for those on Xeloda, folic acid can possibly increase side effects. Docs will tell you not to take it while on Xeloda. As well as a stand alone supplement, it is usually found in multi-vits and B-complex.

Thanks for the links, RB. I do eat more cod and salmon than ever before to stay healthy. Oh boy, if only more people knew the benefit of eating for life.
