For those of you who have/had lung mets

I know lung cancer alone is different than lung mets, but I ALSO know we have a group of REALLY sharp people here and I just got the attached email from my coworker who is a 2 year bc survivor regarding her brother who has lung cancer. Any info or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone. PS, here is an email from HIM on 12/22/05

Rhonda

Margo's email
"Hey

I just got an email from my brother and

he's still coughing up blood.

Of course he's a man of so few words that's all he tells me....

Did they say anything to you in chemo about coughing up

blood?

He seems to think its from the chemo.....could be since they

radiated the hell out of his lungs and put him on chemo every

week for 2 years.

He also lost his job cause he would and couldn't lift

patients yet...he's still week.

So we're back to the no insurance again."

Brothers email on 12/22/05

"his ARNP went over the report he received from the doctor that interpreted the PET scans. They believe the cancer is in remission, but inflammation in the lung, esophagus, and stomache (that's a new one) probably caused by radiation and chemo treatments will require regular observation as they may be hiding areas of malignancy.
