Smile Taking EVERYTHING into consideration before "FREAKING" out!

I for one am someone who as I've been told "reads too much" (especially about cancer/breast cancer) and I know that when I was originally dx (2/1/05) I read EVERYTHING (still do), but early on I took everything I read "at face value" and would have good and bad days based on what I read. One thing I've learned is that there are TONS of studies, reports etc in the news everyday and that you need to keep everything in perspective (i.e. the studies findings don't cover EVERY possible aspect of the cancer, stages, nodal status, hormone status, kind of chemo/no chemo, how many regimens, radiation, herceptin/pre-herceptin, lg #'s in the group, what kind of treatment was done at the time of the study etc). Basically, don't let everything you read control your emotions.
