I found out today i was accepted to the Seattle vaccine trial! I was a little worried because my muga dropped to 46. I can start anytime, but i'm trying to get airflight from Angel Network. Has anyone else used them?

I am so happy for you!!! Michele that is so wonderful. I don't know of anyone that has used the Angel network, but from what I understand, they set you up on a corporate plane and you are treated like a queen - first class all the way. Good luck sweetie - keep us informed.

Michelle, this sounds like great news. I am too knew at becoming a bc "expert" I'm afraid. Can someone help a "newcomer" understand the vaccine? What are its future hopes?
Best Wishes Michelle.
Thanks.

Michele,
That is wonderful news. This is the little extra insurance that you need. What made you decide on this one as opposed to the one in Winber?

To answer a couple of questions,
really the only reason i decided Seattle instead was because i didn't have to stay a couple of days at a time, and Angel network said they could get me to Seattle easier then PA.
The vaccines are "supposed" to kick our immune systems into recognizing the cancer if it comes and to attack it. It's still phase 1 trials, but it won't hurt, it may not work, but there is a low chance of actually hurting you.

Of course, I also send you well wishes and hugs.
Come back and give us a bird's eye view of the experience . All these vacines sound extremely encouraging and worth the effort.
Michelle, I wish you the best and I know Stepanie would love to meet with you up there.
