Christine & Joe, How about a reunion??

Hi guys, I am going to take a holiday next year, but don't know where to go, I thought out of Australia, but then is it safe. That is when I will have the clearance from my heart specialist and everyone else I have to check in with. Is there anywhere central on the calendar next year that is already planned, we all need something to look forward to, suggestions.. I did mention Las Vegas when I was 80 so that is still a date.

By all means go to Australia...I went to Melbourne and Cairns in April and it was so delightful. I had not been to Australia before and thought it was beautiful. We have brown sparrows here, they have wild lorakeets that look like little parrots flying around -- so beautiful. One of my goals was to visit the Great Barrier Reef and I was not disappointed, it was breathtaking. Of course we looked like something from "A Bug's Life" in the snorkel equipment, but it was worth it. As far as safety, as long as the government isn't warning you about a particular place, you have to live your life. Go for it!

What time of year are you thinking about? I think I could warm up to the idea of a get together. Just this past weekend, I met Mary-Tierresante and Joe/Christine in person. It was wonderful knowing the people you've only "met" on the website.
