Hello -

I just wanted to drop a quick note to everyone and let them know that Lisa had her first WBR today followed by her Herceptin treatment. She's fine, but the Benedryl (Herceptin pre-med) has her wiped out.

I didn't want anyone to worry if you didn't see any posts from her today.

Love and Light -

Mel

Hey there, I just finished 10 WBR this week. I am also on 3 weekly herceptin and yes with benadryl it wipes you out. She can expect to feel head weary, maybe some headache although I have just had very mild ones. Sometimes I am a little woozy/dizzy, very tired. I trust she is also on dexamethasone ? May have trouble sleeping, I wake up frequently but I can go right back to sleep, had weird dreams too. Hope things go well.

Thanks for the update...I have been thinking of Lisa. Praying the WBR zaps all these unwelcomed buggers.

Warmly,

Judie

Mel,
Thanks for the update. I know how Benadryl kicks her butt big time, so glad I didn't have to take that with my Herceptin. Glad she's gotten the first WBR under her belt. I agree with the others.. ZAP the heck out of those little buggers!

Hugs to you both,
janelle
