just having a bad day
yesterday my right foot gave way and it hurt big time and so I went on to my left foot quickly and ended up having sprained both!!
The first year without herceptin and me and my lovely husband were looking forward to a great year and then he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, but he is doing great, and then I do this stupid thing!! I am just mad with myself.
Just wanted a rant, sorry. I will feel better tomorrow.
Thanks , you are so lovely on this site.

tomorrow will be better
Janie,
When it rains, it pours sometimes. Just getting the "hurt" out feels better sometimes. I used to tell my girls whenever they had a bad day, that after a good night's sleep, tomorrow will be a better day, and it always was. Here's to a better tomorrow. All my love, NanaKaren

Janie,
Sorry for the misfortune. Glad your husband is doing great with his brain tumor treatment. Just think how it would be if all the bad luck happened to just one person - like in my case
I always believed it is healthy to 'rant'. Let's see who else is having a bad day...

Yes, when it rains it pours, but there are always rainbows to follow. Here's to a better tomorrow.

Janie,
Rant all you want, that's what we are here for. My DH had a brain aneurysm in Jan. 2006 (he's also doing great, we were very lucky), and then I was diagnosed in Oct. 2006 - my PS found my tumour when he was doing my breast reduction. 2006 was obviously not the best year at my house, but ya know what - I did my chemo and herceptin, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Oct. 2007, and in September I'm going to be 50 - so the sun does shine again.
However I did feel some awfully gloomy days, so I hear ya girl.
all the best
caya

just having a bad day
I am glad your husband is responding to treatment. Feel free to share your and your husband's ups and downs anytime. We all have good and not so good days.
We all need to complain about the down times sometimes. It is very human to do that. The damaged body parts you have will heal eventually. Until then take good care of yourself.

It's good to hear your husband is responding. Sometimes it just pays to get in the shower and scream till you are exhausted. I have a pool and I like to escape by myself late and night, sometimes I will just let it all out then. Stress is not good kept inside to fester..sherryg683
