missed you
I missed everyone in the chatroom last night but I had something way more important going on. The new grandbaby was born last night at 10:38pm. He's named after his daddy, Nicholas, but I'm going to call him little Nicky. He weighed 7lbs 5ozs and was 20" long. He is so beautiful and has ALOT of black hair. So far we don't know about the cf or the fluid he'd had on his kidneys. He had an ultrasound on his kidneys today and they didn't say anything to them so I assume all was okay.

Congratulations Juanita but that is absolutely no excuse not to be in the chatroom. Many hospitals have wifi and you could have just brought the computer along. This way, you could have given us all a blow by blow (she's at 8cm and panting now!!).
He is a beautiful baby and what hair! My girls were bald until they were two. Wonderful news!

Hi Juanita,
Well, I guess you had a good excuse for missing chat. I will say, "little Nicky" was a BEAUTIFUL reason for missing. Thank God for this new little gift you've all been given.
Love to you,
Mary Jo

Juanita! Congratulations to you and your family. Look at the hair on that rascal! He's adorable. Like Becky said (lol) that's no excuse to miss chat, though. What a wonderful time for your family. Take care, Bill
