Fit @ Foremost (this is about me)

This is a small article that my employer did on me:

Current Feature

January 2006 - Rhonda Hoffman: Fit Track Profile

Occupation: Personal Lines Underwriter

Fitness goals: Since being diagnosed with
breast cancer, I have lost 45 pounds and would
like to lose (and maintain) an additional 10 to 15 pounds, which will put me at a healthy BMI.

What got you started? I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 2/1/05. NONE of the other “diets” worked for me (I ate candy like a person smokes cigarettes). My aunt sent me a copy of the “Breast Cancer Diet” which was designed
by a nutritionist who is also a three-time cancer survivor herself. After reading it, I became convinced that in addition to surgery, chemotherapy, radiation AND Herceptin (which I will continue to get every three weeks until 8/06), this new way of eating and exercising will keep me surviving.

Exercise routine: I walk two miles a day, five days a week and do Qi Gong and yoga on the weekends.

How do you stay motivated? My son and wanting to see him (and hopefully grandchildren) grow up as well as to set a good example for him as to the importance of healthy eating and exercise (HE actually likes the phytochemical shake I make each morning).

Eating tip: I am faithful to my diet six days and give myself one “cheat” day a week, but it’s gotten to where even on my “cheat” day, I tend to stay healthy. I try to eat 9+ fruits and vegetables a day so I “plan” my meals for the day, but instead of my “chain eating” candy, I have switched to fruits and vegetables.

Guilty Pleasure Food: Homemade baked goods, particularly pies, breads and cookies.

Favorite Health Food: Clementines and raisins.

Healthy Advice: Don’t wait for “the diagnosis” to take care of yourself.

Wink Link not working

Hi Rhonda -
I was interested to see this article, but the link takes me to a google page with other choices that do not match.
I have AOL - maybe that is the problem!

I get the same error message (like Al does).

Maybe you should cut and paste it into here so we can see.
