yep, you can have abdominal pain from ...
...either an inflammatory reaction to the solution the herceptin is mixed in or just over-work out of your intestines when the tumor debris starts cleaning up, thanks to the Herceptin, then washing out through the digestive tract.
This has been one of my worst symptoms taking herceptin all these years...surprisingly, one of the best home remedies is simply to wait a few days after you have taken your herceptin and do a basic enema...I used to fuss with all those complex coffee enemas --which can be helpful--but it turned out that just a basic drugstore enema would clean the residue out of the large intestine and reduce pain, inflamation and burning and bring instant relief.
Of course, Herceptin also often causes pain at the sites of the disease...you can not rule out gastric or pelvic mets which the Herceptin may be targeting and causing pain at these sites....overall though, it sounds like the Herceptin is working well on you...keep up the GREAT work.
Hope this helps,
Gina
