I think it is good that you can make a switch quickly and try this new regime. I am not sure of all of the differences between the two treatments you mention. Why did your doctor want to try Gemzar/Carbo (and Herceptin) first and why did you want to try Navelbine (with Herceptin) first? What are advantages and disadvantages for each plan. I think it is very good that can get started quickly and find out what is going on in the first place - sounds like there is not consensus on what some of this stuff actually is. Hang in there Chrisy. You can switch gears if you have to and it might be the very best thing for you right now. I know how strong you are so fight the good fight.
