I used Jameison's Aloe Vera Gel. The stuff is so pure, you can drink it! Just slather it on. Weird stuff but very hydrating. It is clear and colourless and comes in a jar.
You could also ask for a prescription for cortisone cream.
Also bathe using Dove soap.
