I had TCHP for six rounds and unfortunately the carboplatin caused a significant hearing loss. I now need to wear hearing aides. It is a very rare but very real side effect. It did not start happening until
after my last treatment so I completed the full treatment. It did reduce the size of the tumor dramatically but there were still some signs of cancer so I had a bilateral. Good luck with your treatments
