Just a thought on imaging procedure and mask.

Perhaps you know this already? If you have imaging test (particularly MRI) in the near future, prepare to bring a high quality mask/respirator without metal wire, or any sort of metal in it. The current induced to the metal wire by high RF (radio frequency) field during the MRI procedure causes the wire to get hot and could burn skin.

A MRI tech will ask you to remove the mask. Even if the procedure is not MRI, some tech asks patient to remove the mask (metal object on your body to be exact) anyway. Due to the covid pandemic, not wearing a mask in a tightly enclosed space (the imaging room) with little airflow for more than a few minutes is very risky. Especially going forward with the new covid variant that is more infectious and possibly more dangerous than the original strain.

So I think it’s prudent to have a high filtration mask that seals well without any metal in it to use during imaging procedure.
