First thank you all for the offers of support, rides, dog sitting...what an amazing group...wish I could hug each and everyone of you in person.

I had the "mapping" done Thursday...I did not realize they make a mask out of mesh that is warm, then cools as they shape it and mold it tightly to your head, neck and upper chest....it ends up being a hard shell cast that I will wear each time and it is bolted down to the table.

I was also marked and a bolus pad placed for a sub pectoral node they want to blast. I will be receiving Tomo Radiation....which is done in slices to deliver a precise dose. They said this is due to the brachial plexus and the structures in the neck. I was tattooed and will begin the radiation on the 20th for 7 weeks, 5 times a week.

Lani, this may define more on the radiation type and area of my neck it will be.

I got to make an unexpected trip to Chicago again Friday with my little grandaughter Jasmine as her rod in her spine broke again from an incident on the school bus....she had to go to Shriners in Chicago, and will be having 2 new rods placed in her final surgery after she gets clearance and a picc line placed at Childrens in Chicago....sometimes you have to wonder why everything happens at once!
