Was diagnosed with ductal ca in 2001...had right mastectomy, on tamoxifen for 5 years....in feb 2010, incorrectly diagnosed with lung ca..never smoked...had right lower lobe of lung removed and 16 weeks of carboplatin chemotherapy...in mar 2011, found spot in my liver....redid all tests...found I never had lung cancer, but her2 positive, estrogen positive, program neg...fish5.4.....started herceptin sept 2011..diagnosed stage 4.....feb2012 herceptin stopped working...mar 2012 started taking 6 pills tykerb daily and herceptin every 3 weeks along with fulvestant...with tykerb and herceptin last pet scan showing liver spots decreased and spots on bone disappeared....
