I don' t know the rules of the trial you are considering, but I think you should talk to your own oncologist about your circumstances. Perhaps your oncologist can talk to the doctors a Johns Hopkins and see if they can work out something for you, so you won't have to travel or be away from your family so much.
Perhaps there will be trials available in your location in the future. You could ask your oncologist or the nearest research center about those things.
