Hi,
I have found that the workplace is not very compassionate. They are looking at their bottom line and prefer healthy candidates. I have needed my job so I try to keep quiet about my cancer. It is very stressful so I will be going on disability next month. For me I just felt while I stayed I would just make the best of it as unfair and unjust as that may be. I have Stage 4 bc for 6 years and my company provides excellent benefits. So that is the trade off in my case. I am very physically able but I do not like the fact that I have to put up and shut up. I think all jobs give one stress (to different degrees).
