I get an ECHO about every 4 months, although I was 7 months into my treatment before I got the first one. I also have had to bring it up with my regular onc and gotten the "I guess it is time to do that" response. My 2nd opinion doc seems to be more into it. I'll be seeing her in a couple of weeks and plan to ask her if there is a "standard protocol". Also, I've always wondered, would you not notice if your LVEF dropped a lot? I mean, if you are active and feel well, is it possible youre LVEF is too low and you could not tell?
