A few weekends ago I read in my local paper that a lotion called Lavendar was causing gyneomastia in boys. As the above article suggests, certain lotions or shampoos can cause gyneomastia if they contain estrogen. Imagine the affect these products could have on women, possibly increasing estrogen exposure to the breast. I used to rub body lotion all over prior to getting breast cancer, including over my breasts. Now I wonder if that was the very thing that caused my breast cancer. Now the only thing I rub over my remaining breast is mild soap and water.
