Hi sassy, That is wonderful news you got. Congratulations. Bone spurs are no fun...but much better then other things I can think of.

Your post gives me some encouragement...I have had my left hip LITE up on my PET/CT scan, it says there is increased uptake in my left acetabulum. I've had two recommedations to have a MRI done on it. But my onc doc won't do it. I keep bringing it up to her and she says "Ok...we can do that". But I see its still NOT be ordered...and it has me worried. Especially since its lite up twice now on my scans.

I hope my pain turns out to be a bone spur. That would be a major relief. This is the first time I would be thrilled to have a bone spur...who would of thunk it. lol

I am truly thrilled for you. Its always so nice to get good news.

11-19-09 RT. Femur surgery - Rod placed
12-7-09 Navelbine added to Herceptin/Zometa.
3-23-10 Ten days of rads to RT femur. Completed.
4-05-10 Quit Navelbine--Herceptin/Zometa alone.
5-4-10 Appt. with Dr. Slamon to see what is next? Waiting on FISH results from femur biopsy.
Results to FISH was unsuccessful--this happens less then 2% of the time.
7-7-10 Recurrence to RT axilla again. Back to UCLA for options.
