I get mammos every 6 months. I heard this is done for 3-5 yrs then you go yearly again after that. I am at 2 yrs post diagnosis now and I got one in June and will get again in December so I am still on an every 6 month schedule (I also had lumpectomy so I have both breasts). I am also 47 and my breasts aren't that dense anymore.
