autoimmune diseases

Just wondering if any of the members on this forum have any of the autoimmune diseases. I have had Sjogren's Syndrome since 1977 and doing well with the same medications which have kept me in remission. My medical team is well aware of this and all concur that there is no contraindication for chemo or radiation which is good. I know some autoimmune patients may not be able to get radiation, such at lupus and scleraderma patients. Just wondering if by chance there are any other Sjogren's people out there and if so, how did they do with tx and radiation. As it is, this disease causes extreme dry mouth and eyes, occasional joint pain but I haven't really had much of that for a long time, just the dryness, and I mean dryness EVERYWWHERE you can imagine. I use special drops for my eyes, (Restasis), and I am constantly drinking water and chewing sugarless gum. Thanks for your help.
