This is a very interesting article and goes to the heart of the matter which is that cancers are many different diseases in different people and it stands to reason that the shotgun approach to treatments may not be the way to go in the future. Clearly Herceptin is an example of targeting a specific factor to stop the cancer in its tracks. The wonderful ladies on this board are a shining example of this type of targeted treatment.
