That is too bad. Some times I think they mean well but don't say it well. Perhaps, they want to give you the worse and then if you do better or survive then you can feel like you won. For us it doesn't help us move on as we need hope. It will be hard to get pass this but you will. I went through a similiar situation and it took me a long time to put behind what I had been told and not to look at the stats out there. Wishing you well with your new oncologist.
