I have some confusion about the test and how it should be used.
I had a year of Herceptin along with chemotherapy. Pathology indicated I was at least stage III and may have been stage IV. I am now on hormonal treatments. Should I be getting this test routinely or is it for someone who is already on Herceptin? When is it indicated and for whom? What does it indicate? If my levels test within the 'normal, range, would that mean that I was no longer Her2+?
