Useful Books

A suggestion.

How about if we had a string for books that you found particulary impressive.

I would be pleased to start it with. I does help to try and a least skim through several on the general topic, as different perspectives often help it all make more sense.

I found it in my local library.

SUGGESTION

Dr Gaynor's Cancer Prevention Program by Mitchell L Gaynor and Jerry Hickey.

Kensington Books 199

REVIEW

This is a serious book that takes a wholelistic approach, written over three years by and with cancer specialists, with a very personal interest.

It is well laid out, full of interesting facts, and thought provokong.

There lots on fats, phto foods, flavanoids, recognised supplements etc.

The overall message is you can make a difference with diet at the core, with emphasis on fats, green veg, beans, fruit and veg, fish etc.

Mr Gaynor MD is cited as director of Medical Oncology at the Strang Cancer Prevention Centre, and Mr Hickey RPh, Chairman of the advisory board of the socienty of nautual pharmacy.
