I do not regard diet as an alternative but an adjunct.
If you have time please read the post on the importance of omega three and six to breast cancer on the articles of interest section of this site.
There are several trials from different angles showing risk reductions of 60%-70% for those with higher omega three intake / the use of omega three in in vitro trials. This for me is a figure that demands consideration.
There are also lots of reasons why it make sense to include high level varied plant sources, greens retinoids flavanoids, alkaloids,.......... etc. Plants are chemical factories that humans have had access to as part of their control mechanisms and "evolution".
The more I am slowly becoming aquainted with the subject of cancer the more I realise how truly immensly complex and individual it is, how it is linked to all sorts of other processes in the body.
For me it make sense what ever decisions are taken to make the most of natures bounty in dietary terms as a starting point.
The more you read the more evidenent how complex it is.
AnnieApplseed a web site has quite a lot of info on adjunctive therapies.
