Lightbulb Hi Maggie

Y'know, you got me thinking.... I have been on weekly Herceptin ever since the summer of 2003. Up to the middle of last year (I think in summer), I have been having a runny nose.

My mom tells me that it is a "late-developed" allergy that runs on her side of family. First, it was my maternal grandmother that developed a runny nose late in her life (I think in 50's), then my mother in her 40's, and now me in late 30's. To this day, we don't know what causes our runny noses.

Or could it be just a combination of SO many medications I had been put on since original diagnosis of breast cancer in May '03?....

I have no idea as to whether it is this so-called genetic allergy or some kind of reaction to Herceptin. I am not in pain, although it is very annoying to be needing tissues EVERYWHERE I go! Well Maggie, it might be a good time to look up an allergist and ask him/her about your symptoms. Even if it is a reaction to Herceptin, I think this would be tolerable, don't you think??
