Thanks!
Hi Irene~
Thanks for your response...perfect timing. I go in to see my onc & surgical onc tomorrow to discuss the surgery, results of the pathology & make a plan. I just want to be sure to go in w/as much information as possible...we're such a tiny population of BC Survivors survivING very specific circumstances & there's just not much info out there. I knew coming here, to this site, I'd find folks with the most educated opinions. So thank you for that!
I do know that they got the path back from the R lobe that was removed & it showed completely clean margins surrounding the single tumor, and after thorough inspection, no other sign of disease. This is nothing short of miraculous, because at one time my scan reports described my liver lesions as "innumerable, immeasureable". AND, it's just been this one single stinky lesion we've been wrestling with for over a year, and now it's GONE!
All of this makes good argument for No add'l chemo...I guess I'm just afraid to even hope they'll say "No more chemo!". I am anxious to get back on Herceptin!
Thanks again Irene!
Keep the Faith!!
