I talked with our oncologist who specializes in hormonal therapy before about this. The cells become so starved for estrogen while on the A.I.'s that they become extremely sensitive to it. When they get exposed to it at normal levels it blows them away due to their hypersensitivity. The oncologist said the only problem with this is that all women won't will be this lucky. Some women may suffer rapid progression as their cancer cells won't be killed and the estrogen will fuel their cancer. So it would be a real gamble, unless they learn how to minimize the risk.
