Isn't it just SO much fun to be a stage IV survivor?? Y-E-S-S-S-S!
Last Sept. hubby and I were up at Whistler, British Columbia for five days of walking, canoing and tree treking. We chose to walk high in the trees and WATCH the zip liners gliding past us high in the air over a rocky creek! More due to hubby's queasy stomach than my not wanting to be daring!
I know women cancer survivors who climb mountains out here in the misty woods. The mountains I climb are smaller and more personal, but at least the willingness is there to sink our teeth into a challenge.
Now for some fall planting - picked up some new ceramic pots and flowers yesterday at the farmer's market. Giving myself something to do each day is a big part of my healing.
Keep this in mind, as it gets us out of a rut!
