I think the best lesson to be had from your regimen is to base your treatment on empirical evidence. There is certainly no harm in monitoring bloodwork that seems to fluctuate with treatment phases.
I have incorporated many of your recommendations concerning diet and supplement. Though I am still in first line chemo treatment for stage 3C disease, I hope to prevent recurrence and mets through careful monitoring of CA27-29 and her2 serum. Should need be, I would certainly advocate to continue herceptin once my initial year is complete.
