Hey Val: I was under the impression that Herceptin created a highly positive synergestic effect with radiation and should be given at the same time you had your radiation treatments. I was heart broken when I had to discontinue herceptin use right before my radiation treatments (heart problems)but I hope that I got at least some of the benifit because Herceptin stays in your system a while ( I'm not sure how long...does anyone out there know?) after you stop taking it.
