Hi, Congratulations on getting access to Herceptin. If you are Her-2 positive, it will work like magic. I can not help with London hospitals, although I was in Scotland last year for two weeks and they seem to have a LOT of places you can get it, so I am sure London will also. I have received all my herceptin treatments in the U.S.A. in Alexandria, VA. I am one of the longest surviving users of Herceptin, having used it regularly and successfully now since early 1999, just shortly after its release in this country by the FDA in 1998. It really works--even on someone with a poor prognosis like I had (Breast cancer mets to liver/bones/pelvis--turmor 5cm ER- PR - and Her-2 3+). If you want it to work really well, be sure to increase your dietary uptake of oleic acid such as that found in olive oil, canola oil, walnuts, etc. as the latest research is showing that herceptin combined with adequate levels of oleic acid can reduce her-2 receptors on cells up to over 90% as compared with just under 50 per cent for either used alone. To read more about the oleic acid studies just type in oleic acid and her-2 into Google and it will take you right to them. Goodluck. Gpopp@comcast.net
