Of course you have made the right decision for you! I'm sure you read, thought, listened and then decided. Each of us has to take charge of our treatment and proceed. Once a decision is made we go forward. When another bump in the road appears, we make another informed decision. Each of us is a unique individual. Your decision may or may not be someone else's decision, but it is right for you.
Choose what is best for you. All of the statistics in the world don't tell you how you personally will react to anything.
Go climb those mountains....that is something that just amazes me.
