Mets are mets and more surgery would only cause more trauma and not reduce the mets. It is a fairly accepted fact that surgical trauma may aggravate the HER2 and possibly cause the cancer to spread. HER2 is a growth factor and that's also what your body generates for wound healing.
Personally, I think you made a wise decision, contrary to medical tradition.
