Wondered what ever happened to DHA paclitaxel. Received FDA fast-track approval for pancreatic, esophageal and metastatic melanoma and is in phase III trials for pancreatic and metastatic melanoma. Now called taxoprexin. Not clear if they went for these cancers because these were ones with the best response or because there are few good options for these types that they represent a guaranteed market. The inventing company went bankrupt and the technology sold to a company that now is carrying out the trials.
