Hi -
My med onc wanted me to take Folic Acid as a supplement while on chemo - I did not have Methatrexate.
Initially I understood that it would help combat the expected neuropathy, then I later learned of other benefits as you mentioned.
We need Folic Acid for aiding cell growth and repair.
