I am getting Letrozole, Herceptin and Lupron to shut down the ovaries. I was told that the treatment was more effective if you went the post menopausal route. I recieved 2 lupron shots and decided to get my ovaries out instead. Your hormones are on a rollercoaster with lupron. I am 37 years old dx 03/04 HER2+++ estrogen+ 8/16 nodes + mets to the liver.
