Kristen - I know you are angry and frustrated right now, but I hope you will change your mind in the near future. Take a doctor break for a week or two. It is better to expect the worse and pray for the best. You got the BEST! Thank God for miricles. But now you need to know if you are truly post-menopausal (blood test) and what to do about it. I don't know your history, but you are HERE so you must be HER2. That means your cancer feeds on estrogen. If you have your period, your body is making estrogen. I get Lupron shots every three months to put me in "chemopause" and take Femara. This is something that you should definetly discuss with your onc. As much as we would all love to live like "normal" people, a simple ear infection with a persistant cough turned out to be a relapse five years out for me. I wish you only the best.
