I am post menopausal and started having severe cramps Thurs. morning and thought I was having an apendicitis attack. Later in the day, spotting started and went to the doc. thought for sure it was an Ovarian cyst. NOT.
they started me on pain pills to get through the weekend, thank goodness. I don't know what i would be like without them.

Went in for sonogram and I have thickening of the lining of the uterus. See gyn, tomorrow morning to have consult and possibility of biopsy. I didn't ask how thick, should have, little worried here. I have been looking up this topic all weekend and of course you can find anything on the net and it is not always the same. I have ruled out Ovarian and Cervical cancer, but uterine and endometrial are a possibility. Then again it could be just some stupid stress related incident. Will be glad when tomorrow is over. However I know if biopsy, I probably won't know anyting for a week or so.

will keep you updated and if anyone else has had this experience I would love to know what your symptoms were and what you had to go through. Thank you, Take Care all. K
