Thanks for the heads up on the dexamethasone. I have been on mostly low dosages since Sept of 2003 for brain mets. I have tried getting off several times but the pressure and headaches were too much. Right now I am weaning off it hopefully for good. I havent had too much problem so far and hope I can get completely off it! I was not aware it could affect your blood sugar. I think this is checked monthly with my other blood tests but I will be sure to ask my onc if he has been checking it. I would assume he has and that it has been ok. PattyD
