My understanding is we pre-menapausal women can only take tomoxifen or do the zoledex or lupron. My onco told me yesterday that was only a temporary fix though so I should think about a hysterectomy. I am 39 so I bet I am not that close to menapause and my tests showed that as well. I am so confused though and he also stopped the tamoxifen because of the swelling I was having. I met with my gyno next week so I will let you know. I would love it if I didnt have to have yet another surgery. Have you had any side effects from tamoxifen? Email me anytime at
