Background includes diagnosis in October, 2002. 2.2cm, 1/9 nodes, IDC, Grade III, Her2neu+++, ER+, PR+, Stage 2B. And as mentioned, I'm on treatment 46 (of 52) of Herceptin following chemo and radiation. Also on Tamoxifen (age 47).
I will need to make up my mind after speaking with her tomorrow as to whether I will have the port removed on Monday. HA, I WAS ready to say goodbye and good riddence.
Dowg gone, I thought I was coming up on a period of no doctor visits, no chemo, no port, etc. after 14 months of treatment. With all of the above said though, I'm thinking positive thoughts.
How are you doing? I think about you (many of you) every time I log on. I was devastated when I read your news of another recurrence, but yet you are always full of encouragement!
