As you might know, i have been on Herceptin up to 1 year, so it expires in Aug 2004. I'm stage 3c, not metatastic. Primary tumor totally gone, but 17/18 positive nodes at mastectomy surgery.
Just met with my onc yesterday. Told me to stop taking Herceptin when my year is up.
Having a 2nd opinion at a different medical center about whether to continue on Herceptin or not.
Will let you know later this month.
