That is so great Patty. I am 34 as well (born in 70) and the doctors who dismiss young patients are WRONG!
Consider this....a typical 35 year old has a 1 in 250 chance of developing breast cancer during her 30s. That same 35 year old, if she get pregnant, has a 1 in 350 chance of having a child with Downs Syndrome. The medical community tries to convince her to have amnio to test for this genetic trait yet she has a larger chance of getting breast cancer and they say mammograms are not needed at that age. How much sense does that make?
